Sheridan Healthcare Names John Carlyle CEO

Eisenberg to serve as Executive Chairman, Gold to continue as Executive Vice Chairman

SUNRISE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sheridan Healthcare, Inc., a portfolio company of private equity firm Hellman & Friedman LLC, today announced that John Carlyle has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Carlyle is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 25 years of senior leadership success in the industry. He has previously served as founder and CEO of Accuro Healthcare Solutions, founder and CEO of Magella Healthcare, co-founder and CEO of Concentra, and Chief Financial Officer of Medical Care International.

Mitchell Eisenberg, MD, Sheridan co-founder and current CEO, will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board. Co-founder Lewis Gold, MD, will continue in his current role as Executive Vice Chairman of the Board.
