Intelligent Software Solutions To Acquire Xpect Software

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) today announced it has acquired the principle assets of Xpect Software, LLC, a provider of commercial software solutions to the government and military sectors both domestically and abroad. Financial terms of the acquisition are not being released.

Xpect Software, based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, was founded in 2004, and provides a wide range of data analysis and management solutions to federal, state and local governments across 22 countries. The company’s software assists users in identifying, collating, analyzing, visualizing and exploiting any type of information. Its principal product, Dfuze®, has evolved into the de-facto global standard for Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and counterterrorism operations around the world.

The acquisition of the Dfuze product suite and other Xpect assets help ISS expand into new international markets in its core business areas. The Dfuze family of products complements ISS’ flagship products WebTAS® and CIDNE®, both used by defense and security agencies for reporting and analysis. It allows the company to expand its range of offerings in the law enforcement and public safety arenas with the combined expertise of the ISS and Xpect teams.

The acquisition was completed earlier this month.
