Omni Dallas Hotel Celebrates One Year Anniversary

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Omni Dallas Hotel, which opened its doors on 11/11/11, will celebrate its one year anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 11. The hotel has had a solid start, and October 2012 was the strongest month to date with the month’s occupancy rate topping 80 percent. In the 2012 calendar year, the hotel’s EBTIDA was a little more than $18 million, which is more than $3 million above the estimate.

From Jan. 1, 2012 – Oct. 31, 2012, the Omni Dallas Hotel had key successes, including:

Food and beverage revenue: $24,469,888 (more than 910,000 meals served)
Occupancy: 67.9 percent (expected was 59.8 percent)

Since its opening, the Omni Dallas Hotel received LEED Gold New Construction certification, making it one of the only LEED Gold hotels in Texas and the largest LEED Gold hotel in the U.S. outside of Las Vegas. The hotel also received an M&C Gold Key Award, and Smart Meetings Platinum Choice Award.
