Republic Airways Reports October 2012 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for October 2012. The Company generated approximately 1.7 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), essentially the same as October of last year, on a 3% decrease in capacity to 2.0 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 75,464, a decrease of 1% from October 2011. Consolidated load factor was 84% versus 82% in the same month last year. Republic Airways carried 2.6 million passengers during the month, an increase of 1% from the prior year.
