ELK RIVER, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Last week, at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Show in Minneapolis, Cretex Companies debuted the new branding for its medical group of companies – Cretex Medical. Operating under the umbrella name of Cretex Medical are rms, rms Surgical, Meier, and JunoPacific. These companies provide a broad range of contract manufacturing solutions for implantables, non-implantables, durables and disposables.
“We’ve had a strong presence in the medical device industry for many years, with each of our medical companies serving its own market niche,” commented Lynn Schuler, President and CEO. “But most people don’t know that these companies are part of a larger group, Cretex Companies with a portfolio of complimentary manufacturing capabilities. Under the umbrella name of Cretex Medical, we showcase the breadth of our services for medical contract manufacturing,” Schuler added. “However, it’s important to know that this change will not impact the way we operate. Responsiveness and personalized customer service for which all our companies are known will remain our focus.” In the near future, Cretex Medical will roll out its new brand identity with a new website and additional marketing collateral.
The four companies making up the newly named Cretex Medical operate in seven locations throughout the US with about 1,000 employees.
rms provides contract machining, molding and assembly services with a specialty in implantables for the cardio/neuro stimulation, vascular interventional and orthopaedic market segments.
rms Surgical, an extension of rms, is a single source provider of custom surgical instruments and sterilization cases and trays.
Meier manufactures precision stamped micro-sized metal-formed components and subassemblies.
JunoPacific offers services ranging from tooling to design to prototyping to micro/close tolerance molding, multi-component/multi-material product assembly, secondary operations, and validated sterile packaging. With locations in both the Silicon Valley and Minneapolis/St. Paul areas, JunoPacific is strategically situated to serve these major medical device markets.
