ZELTIQ® Aesthetics Launches New CoolCurve+™ Applicator

(Nasdaq: ZLTQ), a medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing products utilizing its proprietary controlled-cooling technology platform, today announced the introduction of CoolCurve+, the newest addition to the applicator platform for the CoolSculpting® System, at the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) annual meeting in Atlanta. CoolCurve+ is anatomically designed with curved cooling plates to enhance fit and tissue draw on the body.

In a recent assessment study conducted on 15 patients using the CoolCurve+ applicator, 36 percent more patients, who previously did not have adequate tissue draw due to their body shape, could be treated successfully with the CoolCurve+. Of all patients in the study, 73 percent experienced better fit and 80 percent experienced better tissue draw.¹ In a separate performance study with 25 patients who received treatment with the CoolCurve+, patient feedback revealed 92 percent satisfaction and 100 percent who would recommend CoolSculpting with the CoolCurve+ applicator.²
