INFOCOM Invests in a Korean Company, UbiNuri, Inc.

Expansion overseas mainly in Asian countries focusing on the mobile application platform for Smartphone

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--INFOCOM CORPORATION (JASDAQ:4348) announced today its investment in UbiNuri,Inc., providing application store services and publishing business through their platform. Based on this investment, INFOCOM will expand content business and implement social media services worldwide, mainly in Asian countries, in the business of mobile internet.

UbiNuri is one of the biggest and most unique content aggregators for smartphone, affiliating with more than 1,200 developers worldwide, and it provides more than 3,500 smartphone applications cooperating with Korean major mobile operators and manufacturers.

The market for smartphone applications is expanding rapidly and extensively, especially the Asian market, which is one of the most important and promising markets. INFOCOM's investment in UbiNuri will realize acceleration of existing businesses by UbiNuri's partnership with Korean, other Asian carriers and developers in the world.
