Former Governor Ed Rendell Joins Verdeva Advisory Board

TRURO, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Former Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell has joined the Advisory Board of Verdeva, Inc., a technology start-up focusing on market-based solutions addressing critical issues including transportation financing, efficient vehicle incentives, and municipal fiscal challenges.

After 34 years of public service, including 24 years as an elected official, Governor Rendell continues to pursue issues he was passionate about while serving -- making America a cleaner, more efficient place and fostering investment in America’s crumbling infrastructure. He remains involved in the campaign for government efficiency and strategic cost cutting, working with entities such as Government Sourcing Solutions, Public Financial Management and Greenhill Advisors.

As Governor, Rendell worked with Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to create an organization called "Building America's Future”, to focus on the need for a more significant investment in American infrastructure to ensure that America remains a global economic power.
