SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schwab Intelligent Technologies and Salentica Inc. announced today that Salentica Advisor Desk™ with Schwab OpenView Gateway™ is available to independent investment advisors after a successful pilot. Advisors who use Salentica Advisor Desk as their client relationship management (CRM) solution can now view real-time information on their clients’ financial holdings within their CRM. Custody information available from Schwab Advisor Services includes account balances, profiles, positions, transactions, and alerts.
Built on the Microsoft Dynamics® CRM foundation, Salentica Advisor Desk is purpose-built to focus on the needs of wealth managers by providing integrated workflows founded on industry best practices. Schwab OpenView Gateway is a product of Schwab Intelligent Technologies as part of the Schwab Intelligent Integration initiative.
“We are thrilled to bring the benefits of integration to advisors who work with Salentica,” said Brian Shenson, vice president of advisor technology solutions for Schwab Advisor Services. “We’ve seen how bringing information about clients’ financial holdings into the context of the CRM can have powerful impact on both business efficiency and client service.”
“We are excited about being part of Schwab OpenView Gateway and proud of the solution we’ve delivered to our clients,” said Bill Rourke, President, Salentica. “Our integration provides advisors a more complete picture of their client by having real-time data easily accessible. Salentica Advisor Desk is already a leading CRM solution for wealth managers and RIAs, and this functionality delivers on our vision of providing an integrated client management solution for advisors.”
Following a Beta test, the pilot for Salentica Advisor Desk with Schwab OpenView Gateway took place in the summer, with select Salentica and Schwab clients testing the new functionality with the opportunity to provide feedback on the design.
Said pilot participant Roger Sharp of Roger L. Sharp & Associates: “Our CRM is critical for supporting our clients and business development efforts. Integration of the custody data into the CRM will bring together information we need to know about our clients in one location, and we can respond quickly to client requests, which ultimately lets us deliver better service.”
