GREENBELT, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aerospace and aviation industry strategic consultant Rachel Jackson has joined ASRC Federal as vice president, Strategic and Aviation Programs. Jackson will develop and implement strategic growth campaigns and serve as a primary interface to ASRC Federal industry partners.

As a consultant prior to joining ASRC Federal, Jackson provided senior policy, strategic planning and legislative services to businesses in the federal market. She previously served as director of Transportation Programs in Lockheed Martin’s Washington Operations organization and was responsible for government relations, strategy and stakeholder outreach for civil aviation policy and programs. Earlier in her career she was the company’s director of Domestic and International Aviation Business, and managed all aspects of aviation program business development around the world.
Jackson is a board member and treasurer of the Air Traffic Control Association. She previously served as chair of the Aerospace Industries Association’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Subcommittee and the ATCA Public Relations Committee. She also serves as an advisor to Aviation Workforce Development Inc., a nonprofit organization, on critical workforce issues facing the aviation industry.
