Aerospace and Aviation Industry Expert Rachel Jackson Joins ASRC Federal

GREENBELT, Md.--()--Aerospace and aviation industry strategic consultant Rachel Jackson has joined ASRC Federal as vice president, Strategic and Aviation Programs. Jackson will develop and implement strategic growth campaigns and serve as a primary interface to ASRC Federal industry partners.

“Rachel has been involved in major modernization efforts, senior advisory planning, and enhanced airspace security programs,” said Ken Asbury, ASRC Federal President and CEO. “Rachel’s extensive experience in both domestic and international arenas is an asset to ASRC Federal and our subsidiaries as we support the federal civilian and Department of Defense agencies in space and aviation.”

As a consultant prior to joining ASRC Federal, Jackson provided senior policy, strategic planning and legislative services to businesses in the federal market. She previously served as director of Transportation Programs in Lockheed Martin’s Washington Operations organization and was responsible for government relations, strategy and stakeholder outreach for civil aviation policy and programs. Earlier in her career she was the company’s director of Domestic and International Aviation Business, and managed all aspects of aviation program business development around the world.

Jackson is a board member and treasurer of the Air Traffic Control Association. She previously served as chair of the Aerospace Industries Association’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Subcommittee and the ATCA Public Relations Committee. She also serves as an advisor to Aviation Workforce Development Inc., a nonprofit organization, on critical workforce issues facing the aviation industry.
