Exacq debuted in the prestigious Inc. 5000 list in 2010 at number 173 with posted revenue of $9.7 million. It was followed up with a ranking of 401 the following year with posted revenue of $19.2 million. The Indianapolis metro area company added 45 jobs since its initial Inc. 5000 listing in 2010. Today, the company employs over 110 people, mostly based at the corporate headquarters.

Exacq has a dealer/integrator base of 1500 companies and has high level relationships with key distribution partners such as Anixter, ADI, ScanSource, Ingram Micro, CSC and AccuTech. In order to meet demand for the company’s video surveillance software and hardware products in the international security market, Exacq has added a European office and continues to expand its corporate headquarters. Based in Stevenage, England (in the London metropolitan area), Exacq Technologies Europe, Ltd. officially opened earlier in September.

The company offices at 11955 Exit Five Parkway in Fishers, Indiana is currently in the process of adding a fourth build-out phase to their company headquarters. Exacq moved into the facility in 2009. After two additional expansions Exacq occupied 29,000 square feet. The current expansion progress underway adds an additional 20,000 square feet with the option to add another 12,000.

“Exacq is an innovator and has quickly become an industry leader in the video surveillance industry,” notes Dave Underwood, president of Exacq Technologies. “In 2006 we introduced a hybrid video surveillance server. It allowed end users of surveillance systems to connect their existing analog cameras to the server while being able to seamlessly add the latest IP cameras as well. In many cases, IP cameras offer high definition and a greater deal of control than standard definition analog cameras. With the rapid rise in sales of IP cameras in our industry, our exacqVision hybrid server turned out to be the perfect migration path for security professionals. Today we’ve introduced a complete video management system software solution that runs directly on certain IP cameras.”
