GameStop Opens Exclusive Wii U Wait List to PowerUp Rewards™ Members

GRAPEVINE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GameStop (NYSE: GME), the world’s largest multichannel retailer of video games, announced today that it has created a Nintendo Wii U wait list exclusively for members of its PowerUp Rewards loyalty program. Due to overwhelming demand, the retailer recently stopped taking pre-orders on the Wii U Deluxe Set and Basic Set. The new wait list program allows PowerUp Rewards members to sign up to be notified when additional quantities of the Wii U become available for purchase after the Nov. 18 launch.

Once on the list, customers will be notified when a Wii U is available for purchase and will have 48 hours to respond. There is no deposit required to join the wait list and enrolling does not guarantee a Wii U on or by a specified date or at a specific price.
