HHS Secretary Sebelius to visit Denver Elementary School for “Let’s Move!” event

WHAT:	Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will join U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan for a “Let’s Move!” event on Monday, Sept. 17, at Lowry Elementary School in Denver, as part of the U.S. Department of Education’s third annual back-to-school bus tour.
	Secretary Sebelius will meet with students, parents, and staff in the lunchroom to discuss healthy eating and hear about their “Garden to Cafeteria” lunch program. She will then join students outside for sports and fitness activities during recess. “Let’s Move!” is First Lady Michelle Obama’s initiative to confront and end childhood obesity through good nutrition and physical activity.
	In addition to Secretary Duncan, Secretary Sebelius will be joined by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, Lieutenant Governor Joseph Garcia, U.S. Senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet, Colorado Commissioner of Education Robert Hammond, and Superintendent of Denver Public Schools Tom Boasberg.
