SemiLEDs Announces Senior Management Changes

HSINCHU, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SemiLEDs Corporation (NASDAQ: LEDS) today has announced changes to its senior management team.

After serving as President, Chief Operating Officer and director of SemiLEDs, Dr. Anh Chuong Tran has transitioned to the role of Chief Scientist. As the Chief Scientist of SemiLEDs, Dr. Tran will dedicate his time to SemiLEDs’ technology and product development efforts.

The Board of Directors of SemiLEDs has appointed Mr. Trung T. Doan, currently the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, to the additional role of President.

SemiLEDs has named Ilkan Cokgor as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Cokgor brings to this position over 20 years of product development, marketing, sales, and business development experience. Mr. Cokgor is joining SemiLEDs from Everlight Electronics where he served as Vice President of Global Marketing since 2010.
