WASHINGTON & MELBOURNE, Fla.--()--Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has been selected for the third iteration of the Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners contract, which helps agencies with issues vital to health IT reforms and provides a broad range of IT services to federal customers. Harris was one of 54 companies selected by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center to participate in the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), government-wide acquisition contract vehicle―which has a total ceiling value of $20 billion over 10 years.

Under the follow-on contract, Harris will deliver IT solutions and services for up to 10 categories of support: IT services for biomedical research and healthcare, chief information officer support, imaging, outsourcing, operations and maintenance, integration services, critical infrastructure protection and information assurance, digital government, enterprise resource planning, and software development.
Harris successfully delivered over $140 million in IT services and support under the predecessor Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners contract vehicle.
