The CR500 system enables banks, credit unions, retailers and service bureaus to print ready-to-use, flat financial cards on demand. The system, which offers enhanced encoding capabilities as well as superior image quality with retransfer print technology, turns blank white stock into highly customized, ready-to-use permanent payment cards instantly.

Increasing efficiency with a multi-card input hopper design, the CR500 system can print up to three different card types including credit, debit or ATM cards. It is also integrated with the patented Datacard® CardWizard® issuance software, which is a proven enterprise software application that is currently installed in thousands of financial institution branch locations. The CardWizard software transfers all cardholder personalization data fully encrypted to the CR500 system—delivering a four-color, one-sided card in 36 seconds or one two-sided card in 65 seconds.
In addition to exceptional card printing, the CR500 system has magnetic stripe encoding, contact and contactless encoding options for EMV® compliant card issuance, and includes a dual-control security enclosure that complies with industry security standards.
