WEST NYACK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Promotion Optimization Institute (POI), the leading resource for trade marketing and merchandising executives, announced today the addition of six business leaders to the POI Certified Collaborative Marketer (CCM)™ Education Advisory Board. The new board members are Tom Burkemper, senior director of Category Management/Trade Marketing for Anheuser-Busch InBev; Jim Hertel, managing partner, Willard Bishop; Scott McCulloch, senior director of Merchandising/Category Management, Duane Reade; Joseph Tallarico, global director, Unilever; Randy Mangum, senior director of Pricing, Winn-Dixie Stores; and Win Weber, chairman, chief executive officer, Winston Weber & Associates.

The POI Education Advisory Board (PEAB) has overall responsibility for evaluating and validating the Certified Collaborative Marketer CCM™ curriculum. The Board consists of between fifteen and twenty five members representing academia, retailers, manufacturers, and solutions experts who are appointed to serve two-year terms. Members of the Board are practitioners and educators in the field of sales, marketing and merchandising. The PEAB is created for the purpose of developing and promoting the POI CCM curriculum and certification.
