LOS ANGELES--()--Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats (www.kittybungalow.org), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that rescues, neuters, socializes and finds homes for feral felines while providing outreach, education and Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) services, today announced that Carrie Ann Inaba (Dancing with the Stars) will be presented with the 1st Annual Cats in White Spats Award at its 2nd Annual CATS for Cats all-star benefit concert taking place July 14, 2012 at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

The Cats in White Spats Award is given to a celebrity dedicated to animal rescue and adoption. Inaba, an avid animal lover and shelter cat advocate, is being recognized for her continuous work with animals and for Crib Cat, a web show in which Inaba introduced shelter felines in need of a home to potential adoptive parents around the globe through Petsami’s YouTube Channel.

"Helping homeless animals is something I just can't NOT do," says Inaba, discussing the event’s importance. "I am honored to be a part of this cause and that I am able to help shed light on the need of open hearts, and open homes, for these helpless loving animals. I'm proud to be working in the trenches with organizations like Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats making a difference for the future."

Produced by Kitty Bungalow, CATS for Cats puts a creative twist on the award-winning musical CATS by Andrew Lloyd Webber by basing the show on T.S. Eliot’s whimsical letters to his godchildren which became “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.”

The award presentation will kick-off the benefit concert featuring Fred Willard (Best in Show) as T.S. Eliot along with a star-studded ensemble including Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist), Todd Lowe (True Blood), Keith David (Princess and the Frog), Alicia Witt (film/television actress), Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars), Naturi Naughton (FAME, The Client List), Bethany Joy Lenz (One Tree Hill), Ioan Gruffudd (Ringers), Paul Vogt (MADtv), and several of the So You Think You Can Dance Dancers.*

Event tickets, VIP after party tickets and VIP ticket packages are currently available and start at $50 and can be purchased at http://kittybungalow.tix.com/ and www.tickermaster.com. Special discounts and promo codes are available at www.facebook.com/kittybunaglow.
