Noblis Wins $38M Contract to Support NOAA NESDIS

FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Noblis, Inc., a leading provider of science, technology, and strategy services to the federal government, was awarded a $38M contract to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). The NESDIS Systems Engineering and Analysis Support (SEAS) contract was awarded in March 2012.

Under this three-year Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) blanket purchase agreement, Noblis will provide systems engineering and analysis services to support NESDIS in all phases of the procurement process for new or upgraded environmental satellite ground systems.

NESDIS acquires and manages the nation's operational environmental satellites, operates the NOAA National Data Centers, provides data and information services including Earth system monitoring, performs official assessments of the environment, and conducts research.
