Runners, Hikers and Bikers Who Draw the Most Creative Shapes on Their Workouts between Today and June 21 Eligible for Cool Prizes

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Are you a fitness enthusiast with creative flair? runtastic, a leading provider of fitness apps, is sponsoring a worldwide “Gear Up for Summer” contest to help your inner artist celebrate summer.

“If your favorite activity is hanging out at the beach, submit an outline of a beach umbrella, if you’re into traveling, send us your rendition of the Eiffel Tower -- the only boundary is your imagination.”

Between now and June 21, use a runtastic app to track a run, hike, or bike ride in a shape that represents your favorite summer activity and submit the runtastic-generated GPS outline of your route to us, and you’ll automatically be entered into a contest to win one of five $100 (or equivalent currency) debit cards. An additional 10 runners up (no pun intended) will win runtastic t-shirts and other swag.

The contest is open to all runtastic users worldwide, including those who sign up for a free or paid runtastic app between now and midnight U.S. Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, June 21, 2012. People who are not current runtastic users must download at least one free or paid runtastic app before participating in the contest. runtastic employees and family members, and employees at firms working with runtastic and their families are not eligible.
