FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--()--Adam Meyer, President and CEO of Real Money Sports, Inc., operator of sports handicapping website www.adamwins.com, the leading online sports picks provider, donated $20,000 to cancer research.

Meyer pledged the donation on behalf of his personal trainer, Billy Beck III. Beck ran 50 miles on April 14th, virtually non-stop at the Cypress Bay High School track in Weston, Florida. Beck completed the 200 laps in 13 hours, starting at 6:00pm and completing the run the next morning at approximately 7:00am.

“I know what it’s like to lose a family member to cancer,” said Adam Meyer expressing his desire to continually contribute to cancer research. Meyer recently lost his grandfather to cancer in 2011. “Billy Beck III is a great influence and inspiration when it comes to believing in yourself and pushing yourself to achieve your goals. I decided to pledge the support for Billy once I learned he was committing himself to run the double marathon to raise money for cancer research.”

Meyer has a reputation of being a giver. Meyer is also involved in many charities such as Children Battling Cancer, Kids in Distress, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Little Heroes and many more.

“When I was battling cancer at the age of 30 with two young children, I knew I had to fight to save my life," said Ross Sabath, Event Chair, Relay For Life. “Failure wasn’t an option. I saw that same kind of fight from Billy during his 50 mile run at the Relay For Life of Weston. It was a very special moment to complete the run with him that morning. Adam’s $20,000 donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of Billy completing the run was such an amazing gesture. It helped make the Relay For Life of Weston the #1 fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in Broward County. I am so grateful that there are generous people like Adam in this world. His donation will help fund lifesaving cancer research and support the many programs that the American Cancer Society provides daily to cancer patients.”

Meyer is often referred to as the nation's top sports handicapper and "Handicapper to the Stars" by E! TV. Meyer is known as one of the industry's biggest gamblers, and is regularly featured on sports-talk radio stations across the country. Meyer separates himself from others in his industry by placing large wagers on the same games he advises to his clients who subscribe to his service at www.AdamWins.com.

Meyer's ability to hedge and treat sports wagering as a business, has inspired thousands to follow this popular trend. As the world markets continue to become more unstable, many are looking toward sports wagering as a safer way to find a return on a short term investment than the stock markets. Meyer has proven that understanding where there is line value and knowing when and who to bet on, has become a very profitable formula for both Meyer and his thousands of clients.
