AIBioTech LLC. hires noted FBI Investigator and Scientist Dr. Scott Decker to head up their Security Division

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AIBioTech LLC., a Contract Research Organization providing life science services to government, biotech, and pharmaceutical industry, announced today the hiring of Scott Decker, Ph.D. as the Director of Security. Dr. Decker brings an extensive and diversified background working in security and the biotech industry with twenty plus years experience at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where he worked both as an investigator as well as a scientist.

During his tenure at the FBI, Dr. Decker was most recently the Assistant Section Chief, Security Operations, where he was responsible for the management of security for FBI facilities including the J. Edgar Hoover Building. He was also a Supervisory Special Agent on the Amerithrax investigation in the Washington Field Office from 2001-2007. Dr. Decker also served as a Supervisory Special Agent in the Hazardous Materials Response Unit from 1997-2001 and was a Special Agent on the Violent Crime squad in Boston from 1990-1997. Dr. Decker used his considerable technical background in all of his endeavors at the FBI. He also worked in the Biotech field for several years at Gene-Trak Systems, Inc. as a research scientist prior to becoming an FBI Special Agent. Dr. Decker graduated in 1982 with a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Biological Chemistry.
