Senior Banker Jim Denver Joins First Republic To Lead L.A. Business Banking Team

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--First Republic Bank, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced the opening of a new office in downtown Los Angeles.

First Republic’s office at 888 South Figueroa Street will offer a full range of private banking, private business banking and wealth management services. First Republic will move its existing downtown Los Angeles operations on West 7th Street to the new location.

As part of its expansion in downtown Los Angeles, First Republic announced that Jim Denver, a business banker with more than 25 years of experience, was named Managing Director and Business Banker. Denver will lead First Republic’s business banking initiatives serving the downtown Los Angeles business community.

First Republic serves a wide range of professional services firms, including venture capital, private equity, law firms, medical practices, as well as nonprofit organizations. In Los Angeles, First Republic also works closely with the entertainment industry.

First Republic’s business banking team offers lending and deposit solutions, cash management, wealth management, 401(k) plans, foreign exchange, online banking, and business escrow.

Prior to joining First Republic, Denver was Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of California Bank & Trust in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Denver worked for Citibank and First Interstate Bank. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

In the Los Angeles basin, First Republic also has offices in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Century City, Santa Monica, and Studio City.
