Quri Deploys Nationwide Network of Shoppers to Deliver Real-Time In-Store Intelligence for Brands

Smartphone-Armed Shoppers Report on Merchandising, Promotions, and Capture Photos from Stores to Help Brands and Retailers Improve Bottom-Line Performance and Shopper Experience

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quri, the company that is enabling a real-time, in-store intelligence platform for brands and retailers, today unveiled its smartphone app and cloud-based analytics application. Quri also announced that it is expanding from trial phase to full nationwide deployment. The company announced this from The Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital conference, where it was chosen as one of the few companies to demo on stage. The senior executive conference recognizes and showcases the people and companies making significant accomplishments in the technology industry.

Quri offers brands access to a reliable, on-demand mobile fieldforce of thousands of smartphone-armed shoppers who get paid to check in-store displays, assess competitive dynamics, report product out-of-stock and pricing information, and monitor promotions and launches.

Via Quri’s iPhone app, called EasyShift, anybody can participate in the Quri network of shoppers to earn extra money at the stores they visit every day. Once signed up, consumers immediately see the assignments, or “Shifts,” available in their local area. Shifts are fun, easy, and only take a few minutes to complete.

Once a Shift is complete, information is immediately transmitted to Quri, where it is verified, analyzed and within moments becomes available to the brand client via its real-time, cloud-based analytics application. This empowers brands and retailers to quickly identify locations where problems exist, get a broad picture of the overall roll out of product and promotions, and to work with their internal teams and distribution partners to immediately address any issues.
