CINCINNATI--()--The Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) Charmin brand announces today the launch of its new and improved SitOrSquat: Restroom Finder mobile application, giving on-the-go consumers the ability to search for and rate restrooms across the country. The revamped SitOrSquat app helps take the guesswork out of finding a clean public restroom. New features include a simplified rating system and an easier way to log-in and share with others. The app is also available for the first time in a Spanish language version.

SitOrSquat also allows users to find restrooms equipped with specific features, such as changing tables and handicap access. Users can add a new location and then rate their experience by designating that restroom as a “Sit” (for an enjoyable bathroom) or a “Squat” (for a restroom that could be better) location, based on the cleanliness and overall experience. Consumers are encouraged to leave comments and add photos. For the first time ever, there will also be a Spanish language version of the app to help provide access for Charmin’s growing number of Spanish-speaking consumers using a mobile device in Spanish.
Since the app’s initial launch in 2008, SitOrSquat has quickly become known as a go-to resource for on-the-go consumers seeking a clean public restroom experience. Additionally, in its December/January issue, Parenting Magazine named SitOrSquat one of its best apps for moms.
The new SitOrSquat: Restroom Finder app is available for download to be used on an iPhone®, iPod Touch® and Android™. Formerly known as the SitOrSquat: Bathroom Finder app, the new app contains over 119,000 restrooms.
