ONEONTA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ioxus, Inc., a manufacturer of premium performance ultracapacitor technology for transportation, alternative energy, medical, industrial and consumer product markets, today announced that Nick Cataldo, who has extensive experience growing revenue for cleantech companies, has joined the company as senior vice president of global sales and marketing. In his new role, Cataldo will be responsible for expanding the adoption of Ioxus ultracapacitors in markets worldwide.
For more than 20 years, Cataldo has led sales and marketing teams at semiconductor and cleantech companies. He was a key sales and marketing executive at NEC Electronics, Semtech, International Rectifier and Boston-Power. Most recently, Cataldo was vice president of sales and marketing at Leyden Energy, a maker of lithium-ion-based energy storage solutions. At both Boston-Power and Leyden Energy, Cataldo was instrumental in generating initial revenue, and he has a long record of building brand recognition to surpass profit goals.
