Scripps Networks Interactive completes Travel Channel International acquisition

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--()--Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. (NYSE: SNI) has completed its acquisition of Travel Channel International Limited (TCI), an independent company based in the United Kingdom that distributes the Travel Channel brand in 20 languages across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

Formed in 2004, Travel Channel International has affiliate agreements with approximately 850 distributors in 91 countries. With the completion of the transaction, the company’s 46 full-time employees in London join Scripps Networks Interactive.
