Under the terms of the agreement, blekko’s search engine will be integrated with the latest version of Lavasoft’s free, award-winning anti-malware software, Ad-Aware, to eliminate spam from search results and provide the highest quality content for users.
The blekko-powered search box will be bundled with Lavasoft’s current Ad-Aware versions and the forthcoming Ad-Aware 10, and will be available in the standalone Ad-Aware Security Toolbar. Additionally, the trusted Lavasoft community will help blekko to edit and maintain security-related slashtags, curating the most relevant malware and spyware search verticals.
