Lexmark Acquires ISYS to Boost Its Global Enterprise Software Capabilities

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ISYS Search Software, a global leader in embedded search and universal information access solutions, today announced its acquisition by Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK). The company joins Perceptive Software, a stand-alone business unit within Lexmark.

Founded in 1988, ISYS pioneered the development of Enterprise Search technology. Over the past 23 years, it has successfully moved beyond the desktop into developing and delivering high-performance software solutions for business-critical applications such as virtual data aggregation, enterprise content management, text analytics, email archiving, eDiscovery and data loss prevention.
