Virtual Piggy Appoints Internationally Recognized Cultural Advisor and Humanitarian to Chair the Board of Advisors and Member to Board of Directors

Philadelphia’s Martha McGeary Snider to Lend Professional and Philanthropic Experience to Youth E-Commerce Startup

PHILADELPHIA--()--Virtual Piggy, Inc. (OTCBB: VPIG), an innovator in safe online youth purchasing, today announced the appointment of Martha McGeary Snider as Chair of the Board of Advisors and a member of the Board of Directors.

As Chair of the Board of Advisors, McGeary Snider will actively recruit industry and policy experts to the Advisory Board. Additionally she will assist Virtual Piggy CEO Dr. Jo Webber with strategic marketing.

Previously, McGeary Snider served as Advisor on Arts and Culture to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2010 and raised over $100 million dollars in public and private funding in a volunteer capacity. In 2008, President George W. Bush presented her with The Presidents Volunteer Service Award.

Prior to her two terms as Policy Advisor for Arts and Culture, McGeary Snider was an integral part of numerous successful endeavors. Most notably, she served in both ownership and management positions at Comcast-Spectacor where she coordinated all aspects of design for the CoreStates Center, now the Wells Fargo Center, a sports and entertainment arena in south Philadelphia. Her early career began as a museum professional, art educator and artist.
