Altarum Institute Center for Sustainable Health Spending Director Will Host a Media Conference Call February 13, 2012 to Discuss February’s Health Sector Economic Indicators Report and the Outlook for the U.S. Economy

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This conference call will discuss the data and findings of the February 2012 Altarum Institute Health Sector Economic Indicators reports, as well as the outlook for the U.S. economy in regards to health care spending, prices and employment. The call will be hosted by Dr. Charles Roehrig, health economist and director of Altarum’s Center for Sustainable Health Spending. Roehrig will provide an overview of February’s report findings and then will be available to take questions.

Altarum’s Health Sector Economic Indicators reports offer timely analysis of health sector employment, spending and prices. The reports, published monthly, address gaps in health macroeconomic data and get real-time information into the hands of economic forecasters and analysts. February’s reports will be released to the media on Thursday, February 9 and will be available for download on the Altarum Institute web site at www.altarum.org/healthindicators.
