Sidley Expands its White Collar Practice in Frankfurt with the Addition of Professor Michael Brück

FRANKFURT, Germany--()--Sidley Austin LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Brück will join the firm as a counsel in the white collar practice in Frankfurt. He will focus his practice on compliance and investigations. Professor Brück is currently a professor of civil law, commercial and business law and tax law at the German Graduate School of Management and Law in Heilbronn, Germany, and a partner in a German law firm.

“Professor Brück will be instrumental to building a leading compliance, white collar and investigation practice in Frankfurt,” said Oliver Kessler, managing partner of Sidley’s Frankfurt office.

Professor Brück started his career at a major international accounting firm where he was resident in its Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt and New York offices. He advised clients on complex tax issues as well as on compliance issues. Professor Brück has published books and articles in the areas of corporate and tax law.

Professor Brück is a member of the Frankfurt and New York bars. He holds a law degree from Bonn University, a Ph.D. (Dr. iur.) from Bielefeld University and an LL.M from Southern Methodist University.
