In his current role as President, Products and Technologies at Red Hat, the world's leading provider of open source solutions, Cormier leads engineering and the product business units. Cormier's leadership and experience in enterprise technology led to the introduction of Red Hat's acclaimed line of enterprise products, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux. With a wealth of experience building enterprise-class open source software, he brings unique insight and guidance that will help Hortonworks grow the Apache Hadoop ecosystem.

Prior to Red Hat, Cormier served as senior vice president of research and development at BindView. Cormier holds a Master of Science in Software Development and Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.
