Calling All Boomers! Bermuda Invites Adult Travelers to Relive the Glory Days with New “College Week Reunion” Offering

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This spring, the Bermuda Department of Tourism is encouraging baby boomers to take a stroll down memory lane with three full days of celebratory events, top-notch dining and a range of activities – all designed to capture the youthful spirit and excitement of the island’s famed College Weeks from the 1960s and 1970s. Bermuda’s College Week Reunion will kick off Thursday, March 15 and conclude Sunday, March 18, with dedicated hotel packages starting at just $597.50 per person. These packages will also include three-day event passes, which provide access to each of the planned commemorative gatherings as well as transportation to and from visitors’ hotels.

On March 15, the festivities will begin at sunset with poolside cocktails followed by a dinner party at Beau Rivage, Bermuda’s only French restaurant, offering spectacular views of Hamilton Harbor. The party will then move to Leau Bar at Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort and Spa from 10 p.m. to Midnight. Starting at Noon on Friday, visitors are invited to enjoy a nostalgic Booze Cruise and lunch aboard the stylish MV Lady Tamara. Following an afternoon at leisure, the day will conclude with an after party at The Cellar at Fairmont Southampton, a favorite nightlife spot for locals and visitors alike.
