NEWARK, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quantum Leap Innovations®, developers of advanced Pattern Based Analytics™ (PBA) products, today announced the release of Quantum Leap Buzz (BETA), its desktop version of Pattern Based Discovery™ analytics for social media. It is the first-ever PBA to distil, not just filter, trending social movements from Twitter and deliver immediate intelligence which identifies and quantifies social insights. On Leap Day, February 29, 2012, the BETA version expires and users may purchase an annual subscription to Quantum Leap Buzz, Consumer Edition for $10 per year.

Quantum Leap Innovations’ products run on users’ desktops rather than living in the cloud, thus maintaining total user privacy and security. No cloud provider is able to either mine or monetize work done by Buzz users and since the product runs on the desktop, it avoids bandwidth limits.
