John Robinson Joins Pilko & Associates as Lead of Chemicals Industry Practice

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pilko & Associates, the leading advisor to chemical companies on operational and environmental risks, announced today that Dr. John Robinson has been appointed as its Chemicals Industry Practice Lead. Dr. Robinson, previously CEO of ChemConnect, Inc. and Group Vice President at BP, will help spearhead Pilko’s ongoing expansion in the global chemicals industry. His appointment signals Pilko’s increased focus on expanding its domestic and international operations to prepare for growth in the chemical sectors over the coming years.

Dr. Robinson has an extensive background of more than 30 years in the global chemicals industry and an outstanding track record in executive management, strategic planning and hands-on profit and loss experience. Most recently, he has held consulting roles with biofuel companies including PetroAlgae, Arbor Fuel and Solix Biofuels, and served as a board member for Better BioDiesel. In addition to his leadership role at Pilko, Dr. Robinson is currently working with Endicott Biofuels. Throughout his career, Dr. Robinson has managed operations on six continents, with more than 11 of his 18 years at BP in Europe.
