BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, automotive companies are squarely focused on the connected car experience, as seen at exhibits from General Motors and Kia and others. Data from the Strategy Analytics report, “User Needs and Best Practices for Implementing Connected Services in the Car,” reveals that consumers are interested in a connected car primarily for:

“OEMs and telematics suppliers need to follow these guidelines in order to ensure a compelling and safe connected car experience.”

• local fuel prices;
• local weather; and
• Internet radio.
