MISUMI USA Announces Winner of December Drawing for Entrants Registered in Its University Engineering Program

Additional drawings for Apple iPad 2 to be held in February and April for qualified applicants to free program assisting collegiate engineering students and faculty.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), is pleased to announce that the first of three Apple iPad 2 tablets (32 GB Wi-Fi) was awarded in a drawing held on December 19^th. The prizes are part of a promotion to encourage collegiate engineering students and faculty to participate in MISUMI’s exclusive University Engineering Program.

MISUMI’s University Engineering Program was founded to encourage engineering studies by providing participants with access to MISUMI’s professional engineering expertise, as well as a wealth of information, resources and materials related to product design and the sourcing of component parts.

The winner of the first iPad drawing is Thomas Y. Yen, Ph.D., Associate Instrumentation Innovator Instructor in the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Biomedical Engineering Department, and Industrial and Systems Engineering Department. MISUMI’s University Engineering Program remains open through June 28, 2012, and raffle drawings for the remaining two iPad 2 tablets will be held in February and April.
