Echo Pacific Construction Announces Tuscany Hills Elementary Is Ready for the New Year!

ESCONDIDO, Calif.--()--Echo Pacific Construction is pleased to announce the completion of Tuscany Hills Elementary School. Funding for this $6.6 million expansion project was made possible by the Lake Elsinore Unified School District Facilities Department.

The expansion includes nine new classrooms, a new computer lab, a 4,026 square foot assembly area, new outdoor lunch shelters and an entirely new outdoor yard complete with 4 basketball courts, tether ball, dodge ball, running lanes, and rubber pyramid play structures. Parking was also expanded. Water efficient landscaping and irrigation was included to beautify the main entrance to the school.

“Working with Echo Pacific has been a great experience for the District” commented Greg Bowers, Assistant Superintendent, Facilities & Operations Support Services. “The experience of all parties was instrumental in bringing these facilities to life. The products are of the highest quality, the installation was second to none, and I’m confident Tuscany Hills will remain No. 1 not only in the District but in the County. Echo Pacific has proven they understand the dynamics of partnering and creating successful projects and successful relationships.”

Tuscany Hills Elementary is Lake Elsinore Unified School District’s number one school and the top performing school in Riverside County, based on academic performance scores for 2010. In-spite of the challenges of construction while school was in session, student test scores continued to improve during the expansion.

The construction team included Project Manager, Craig Smith, Superintendent, Tyler Steele, Project Engineer, Yvonne Burkhart and Architect of Record, Architecture for Education, Inc.
