Lois M. Martin Joins Ceridian as Chief Financial Officer

Key addition to executive team brings strong track record of leadership and accomplishment in diverse information technology businesses

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ceridian Corporation, a leading provider of global human resources, payroll, and workforce management software and payment solutions, announced today that Lois M. Martin has been appointed chief financial officer of Ceridian Corporation, effective January 4, 2012. She will assume responsibility for corporate-wide financial strategy, management and reporting and will report to Stuart C. Harvey, Jr, Ceridian CEO and president.

Martin will be responsible for all financial functions across Ceridian Corporation, including its global human resources and payroll business as well as its global payments businesses, Comdata and Stored Value Solutions.

Martin brings to Ceridian’s leadership team a wealth of finance and business expertise developed over a 26-year career. Prior to joining Ceridian, Martin was chief financial officer for Capella Education Company. During her six year tenure, she was responsible for taking the company public, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, information technology, corporate development and treasury. Prior to Capella, Lois served as chief financial officer of Deluxe Corporation, where she directed the spinoff of eFunds, the reorganization and creation of two separate publicly traded entities, while maintaining A+/A1 bond ratings. Martin has also held financial leadership positions with World Data Products, Carlson Companies and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
