SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LifeNexus, the developer of the iChip and Personal Health Card®, today announced that William Jacobs has been named Chairman of the Board and that Robert Titsch has been elected to the Board of Directors.
William “Bill” Jacobs has been a Director of LifeNexus since March 2011. Prior to joining the LifeNexus Board, Mr. Jacobs was the Senior Executive Vice President for MasterCard International (NYSE:MA) and the CFO of the New Power Company. At the New Power Company, Mr. Jacobs was responsible for finance, corporate development, strategic planning, and investor relations, including raising over $500 million in an IPO.
Robert “Bob” Titsch is a proven entrepreneur and business leader with a history of launching successful media and marketing services organizations serving a wide array of markets including healthcare and medical industries. He has 40 years of experience leading high performance business teams and realizing significant value creation and lucrative M&A events for private equity shareholders. He was the founder and chief executive officer of Virgo Publishing, Inc., a media events, and marketing company acquired by Seaport Capital in 2005. He is a co-founder and former board member and Treasurer of the Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network (C-SPAN), which televises coverage of federal government proceedings and public affairs events to over 100 million households. After spending four decades as a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Titsch semi-retired and formed RTK Investments, LLC, to nurture start-up companies and real estate ventures.
