CHANTILLY, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citizant, a leader in business transformation and information-sharing solutions for national security and federal law enforcement agencies, has promoted Susanne Bembers to vice president of contracts. She had served as director of contracts since joining Citizant in January 2011.

Before joining Citizant, Bembers was head of the contracts department for Forfeiture Support Associates in Ashburn, Va., where she directed and managed all activities related to the administration, management and performance of the firm’s government contracts. Bembers has more than 15 years of experience managing government and commercial contracts for companies such as The Lewin Group, Infodata Systems and Vanguard Research Inc.

Bembers earned a bachelor’s degree in procurement and contracts management from George Mason University, received a certificate in procurement and contracts management from the University of Virginia, and maintains a professional certification as a certified federal contracts manager by the National Contract Management Association. She also served in the U.S. Army for seven years.
