Saffron takes home Best Video Service Provider award for third year running

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Saffron Digital, the leading global media delivery platform company, is delighted to announce that it has been voted the Best Video Service Provider in Mobile Entertainment’s awards for 2011. This is the third year running that Saffron Digital has won this award.

The award was given to mark the successful launch of Media Hub for Samsung, and also the cloud-based movie service HTC Watch, both created by Saffron Digital. HTC Watch launched the world’s first HDMI-out capability enabling users to watch device-purchased content on their TV. The service has so far been deployed in 15 countries since launch earlier this year. HTC Watch also has the world’s first mobile 3D movie store.

Saffron’s Chief Operating Officer Jason Keane was at the awards ceremony at the Royal Gardens Hotel in Kensington last night to collect the award.
