SAN RAFAEL, Calif.--()--Jurassic Park fans can today sink their teeth into the highly anticipated release of Jurassic Park: The Game, as Telltale Games, the leading independent digital publisher and developer of episodic interactive entertainment releases the game for sale on multiple game platforms.

Jurassic Park: The Game is available worldwide today for Windows® PC and Mac, and as an App for iPad, taking advantage of the device’s dual-core A5 processor as well as AirPlay mirroring and dual-screen capabilities in iOS 5. It is also available today in North America on PlayStation®Network for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and at retail for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Jurassic Park: The Game will be available soon in Europe and in other territories for PlayStation Network and as a retail product on Xbox 360 and PC.

Jurassic Park: The Game breaks new ground for Telltale Games. It is the first-ever simultaneous, multi-platform launch in company history and is its first retail launch as an independent third-party publisher for Xbox 360. These milestones result from Telltale’s long-term growth strategy to selectively add a retail component to its global digital distribution acumen, allowing the company to address the entire range of the $40 billion dollar video games software market.

Jurassic Park: The Game continues a series of ‘firsts’ for the company and highlights the strategic transformation we’ve undergone to become a multi-platform publisher,” said Telltale co-Founder and CEO, Dan Connors. “This holiday, millions of consumers will be able to experience this all new Jurassic Park adventure on their favorite video game platform. Selectively adding a retail component to complement our digital publishing efforts is a milestone in the company’s development since it ensures product availability in every major distribution channel.”

Jurassic Park: The Game is a cinematic adventure that takes players back to Isla Nublar - the site of Jurassic Park - during the events of the first movie. It allows them to experience Jurassic Park as they never have before in an interactive format. In addition to locations and creatures familiar to fans of the movie, the game offers new areas to explore and new prehistoric beasts to survive in a game that combines fast-paced action, exploration and puzzle-solving.

Jurassic Park: The Game is rated “T” (Teen) by the ESRB for Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Use of Tobacco and Violence. It is available today on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System (Europe coming soon), as a retail product for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft (Europe coming soon), and as a digital download for Windows PC and Mac from Telltale’s Online Store, Steam and Direct2Drive.

Episode One of Jurassic Park: The Game is available as an App for $6.99 from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore. The remaining three episodes, priced at $6.99 each will be available soon.
