Verizon Wireless’ 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network will be available in 178 cities across the country on November 17 and currently supports 16 4G LTE-enabled devices, including the new HTC Rezound™ and DROID RAZR™ by Motorola.

Verizon Wireless introduced its 4G LTE network on December 5, 2010. Since its launch, the 4G LTE network has won numerous technology and consumer choice awards. In real-world, fully loaded network environments, Verizon Wireless 4G LTE customers from Cumberland, Rhode Island to Swansea, Massachusetts should experience average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink when the network is launched on November 17.
