University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro Selects ProVation Medical Software for Procedure Documentation and Coding

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that the new University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro has selected its ProVation® MD software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding.

ProVation MD replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to efficiently document procedures at the point of care. Available for a full range of medical specialties, ProVation software streamlines the coding and billing process and enhances compliance by producing complete, coding-ready and image-enhanced procedure notes. The end result is greater efficiency, increased profitability and heightened clinician satisfaction.

A unit of the Princeton HealthCare System, the 231-bed University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro is slated to open on May 22, 2012. The state-of-the art hospital, located in Plainsboro, NJ, will be a dynamic center of medicine and technology, comfort and compassion, disease prevention and education and will reflect the most advanced thinking about the way people interact as they work toward health and healing.
