Afilias Announces Intention to Apply for Chinese IDN Versions of .INFO Domain

With less than 66 days until ICANN’s new gTLD program opens, the .INFO domain registry announces plans for a Chinese IDN equivalent of the domain

DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Afilias Limited, the ICANN-designated registry operator for the .INFO top level domain (TLD) and a global provider of technical registry services, today announced that it will apply for the Simplified and Traditional Chinese language equivalents of .INFO under ICANN’s new gTLD program.
