Imation Wins Tekne Award for Secure Mobile Storage Innovation

Award recognizes innovative solutions for protecting data on portable devices

OAKDALE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Imation Corp. (NYSE: IMN), a leading global technology company dedicated to helping people and organizations store, protect and connect their digital world, was presented a 2011 Tekne Award for its Defender Collection software suite. The Tekne award recognizes Minnesota companies and individuals for superior technology innovation and leadership.

Imation’s Defender Software Suite is a multi-tiered software solution that enables organizations to customize and enforce device authentication and security policies, and to deploy and manage removable storage devices without purchase of new hardware.
