Finalists Announced for 16th Annual MITX Interactive Awards

Nation’s Most Prestigious Awards Competition Honors Best Cutting-Edge Digital Innovations, Creative Projects, and Technological Accomplishments in New England

BOSTON, Mass.--()--The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX), the professional association for the Internet business and marketing industry, announced the finalists for the 16th Annual MITX Interactive Awards today. MITX has recognized excellence in the creation of web and mobile innovations and emerging applications produced and developed in New England through the awards competition since 1996. Nominees will be honored and winners will be awarded at the annual MITX Awards gala event on Monday, December 5th at the Sheraton Boston.

“Every year the MITX Interactive Awards bring together the very best from the great minds in our community who are producing game-changing digital work,” said MITX president Debi Kleiman. “This is a chance for us to honor and celebrate these achievements. The MITX Awards finalists truly represent industry excellence. This year the finalists competed in 32 categories including vertical industries ranging from consumer goods to e-commerce. The awards honor web sites, applications, and marketing campaigns that also leverage gaming, mobile, search, online video, and social media from companies active in the Internet business and marketing industries in Massachusetts and greater New England.

The MITX awards have grown to become the largest and most prestigious Web innovation awards competition in the country. The judging committee is comprised of over 100 distinguished senior level professionals from various disciplines in digital including media and marketing executives, academia, industry analysts, creative directors, chief technology officers, webmasters, developers, producers, and content providers.
