Pacific Seafood Acquires Coast Seafoods Company

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pacific Shellfish Company, a subsidiary of the Pacific Seafood Group, Clackamas Ore., is pleased to announce the acquisition of Coast Seafoods Company of South Bend, Washington. This strategic purchase includes the Coast Seafoods sales office of Bellevue Wash., Quilcene Hatchery of Quilcene Wash., and farming operations located in Willapa Bay, WA, Grays Harbor, WA and Humbolt Bay, CA. Through the purchase of Coast Seafood, Pacific also acquired 50% interest in Kona Coast Shellfish of Kona, Hawaii, Penn Cove Shellfish of Coupeville, Washington.
